Contact our Member Education & Protection Officer

At Greenacres Tennis Club, we are dedicated to creating a welcoming, safe, and enjoyable environment for all our members—both on and off the court. We understand that tennis has its own unique etiquette and rules, which can sometimes be tricky to navigate, especially for newcomers.
To support our members in feeling confident and informed, we have expanded the role of our Member Protection Officer to include Member Education and Protection. This initiative is designed to empower all players—whether you’re new to the game or a seasoned competitor—with the knowledge needed to navigate various on-court and club-related situations.
We invite you to explore our Member Education Guide, which covers essential areas such as etiquette, commitment to the team, and rules of the game. Our goal is to proactively support and educate members, ensuring that everyone enjoys a positive and respectful tennis experience.
If you ever have questions or would like to discuss specific scenarios, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our Member Education and Protection Officer at greenacrestc.mpo@gmail.com.
Thank you for being a valued part of our tennis family!

At Greenacres Tennis Club, the safety and well-being of our members—including juniors, seniors, and social players—are of the utmost importance. We are committed to fostering an inclusive, respectful, and nurturing environment where everyone feels safe and supported.
We have clear policies and procedures in place to ensure that any inappropriate behaviour, including aggression, threats, or misconduct by members, families, or spectators, is not tolerated.
You can access our Member Protection Policy [here] and our Member Handbook [here].
If you experience or witness any concerning behaviour, please contact our Member Protection Information Officer at greenacrestc.mpo@gmail.com.

Safeguarding Children
We believe that tennis is a sport for everyone, and we are deeply committed to ensuring the safety of all children and young people under 18 at our club. Our policies align with Tennis Australia’s Safeguarding Children Code of Conduct, which protects young players from all forms of abuse, harassment, discrimination, and victimization.
As part of this commitment, all volunteers who have access to information about junior members are required to have a current Working with Children Check (WWCC). This ensures that those working with children meet the necessary safety standards.
