Greenacres Tennis Club is part of the North East Tennis Association (NETA) and competes in both junior and senior competitions.
Junior Tennis

Matches are played on Friday evenings for advanced Yellow Ball players and Saturday mornings for Yellow Ball, Green Ball, and Orange Ball players.

Green and Orange Ball players use modified tennis balls, with Orange Ball serving as the entry point for competitive play.
Competitions are administered by Tennis SA and follow a home-and-away format across Adelaide’s North-East suburbs.
Each team requires a parent team manager, and parents/carers are responsible for their child's transportation to and from matches.
Season structure:
- Summer season: October to March
- Winter season: May to September (Yellow & Green Ball)
- Orange Ball: Played on a term-by-term basis

Junior players may also be eligible to join a senior team, depending on their ability/UTR.

Senior Tennis
Matches are held on Saturday afternoons.
​
The winter season (May–August) follows a home-and-away format.
​
During the summer season (October–March), NETA and the Eastern Districts Tennis Association (EDTA) combine to offer a stronger and more diverse competition.
​
Match times: 1:00 PM or 3:30 PM, depending on home venue availability.
​
Singles competition, varied Doubles competitions available - Men's, Women's, Mixed.

Midweek Ladies
A women-only doubles competition played on Wednesday mornings from 9:30 AM to approximately 12:00 PM.

Two seasons per year:
- January to June
- July to December
​
